The municipal or departmental plans for Disaster Prevention determine their tasks and the anti-disaster measures in other public sectors. It is the municipal or departmental anti-disaster council or the mayor who draws up these plans. The Fire Defence Agency gives instructions on the revision of the plans to make them more practical. In 1995 especially, the FDA gave instruction to the municipalities in setting up the Investigation Committee for the Municipal Plan for Disaster Prevention, in which the academics and agents concerned in anti-disaster administration are included from a professional point of view.
(iv) The designated administrative organizations and public organizations
In April 1996, 29 administrative organizations and 38 public organizations were designated as national anti-disaster organizations.
